As Co-President, Mena is responsible for the company's overall interactive strategy.
His responsibilities include all technology and interactive product development, as well as the company's interactive marketing and database strategies. Most recently, Mena was the architect behind the first-ever integration of the Apple iTunes Music Store across all Emmis radio station websites.
Before his appointment to Co-President, Mena had served in a variety of capacities at Emmis including General Sales Manager, Director of Marketing, Local Sales Manager, and Vice-President of Interactive.
As Marketing Director of WKQX-FM/Q101, Rey was also responsible for creating the brand identity and imaging for Q101, one of the country's premiere alternative rock stations. At that time (1995), he launched Q101.com which was among the first radio stations online.
During his career, Rey has been recognized for his achievements in marketing and branding — receiving 6 PROMAX Awards, several Telly Awards and 3 Emmi Awards.
